Sometimes, movie scripts based on books only have the title in common.
If I had never read Annie Proulx’s original copyrighted version of “Brokeback Mountain” before I saw the movie version based on Larry McMurtry’s version which was based on the edited version printed in the New Yorker Magazine, I would have enjoyed the movie more.
