A couple of years ago I found silly putty in a store and bought it for my grandson. It was a big disappointment. Apparently either the putty or newspaper ink has changed and it wouldn’t pick up print anymore. Also, it was such a tiny piece of putty in the plastic egg, it was hardly worth it.

I remember silly putty. We thought it was cool at the time but with all the kids have to play with now, I can see why it wouldn’t excite them.

I tried to copy the RoyBoy’s face with silly putty and it didn’t lift anything except leave a slimy film on the screen.

My silly putty never picked up comic images. I was robbed of 100% Silly Putty fun.
