More people need to make these kind of comments, too many kids are too fat and it’s not necessary.

So many kids today are fat because they don’t play outside much because of video games and round the clock cartoons.

@Bassman said " I really can’t recall a single strip that was positive regarding this topic."

Then you probably didn’t read the strip from the day before. People will find offense no matter the intent because they want to find offense.

Hi Rick. I actually did read the strip from the 6th. Although it was very cute & funny it really doesn’t address my long time, finally expressed concerns about your Christian faith bashing. In this particular strip the humor is in Andrew shouting out Surprise when he was told to be quiet. The Church serves only as a prop or location. The location could have been at a birthday party, Bridal shower, Sweet sixteen, Etc. The Church’s involvement is only as the setting. That’s fine but unfortunately not how you usually use the Church in you strip. I’m sorry that your experience growing up in the Church was negative to you. I know for myself and countless Millions of others it has been and remains a positive albeit not perfect one. As of now I still stick to my position that you engage in Christian religion bashing through the guise of humor.

    Peace.

Good thing we haven’t reached the point to where Christians who decide their faith has been violated will go for car bombs, stabbing and arson yet. But it will come.

It’s funny that some one would take the past few day’s strips as a bash against religion. To me it’s an amusing revelation of how children interpret what adults say and the world around them. And I just love Andy’s positive life attitude.

It’s more than the past few days. It’s been going on for many, many years. I finally deceided enough was enough and I would make my concern known. This is an open forum, isn’t it?
    Peace.

Most likely what we’ll see is Christians being forced to renounce thier faith or suffer for it!
    Peace.

I love how you put yourself in a corner and then become a victim. You last comment was waaaay out of line, but then victims like to roll around in their victim-ness just for effect. So, until you get over yourself, you’ll carry your hammer and view everything as a nail. Go gettem tiger!

I’m agnostic at best, yet I don’t see that BASSMANBOB6’s comments were out of line, even if I don’t necessarily agree with them. This IS an open forum. I do see the attacks he has suffered because of his comments to be out of line, and (having read these comments for years) coming from very predictable directions.

To Bob, I say Merry Christmas, to apprently everyone else, Happy Holidays.
