Actually, this is my way of getting back at everyone for years of being made fun of by the english-canadians for having a french accent and by quebeckers for having an acadian accent!
In this strip, Sooky and the gang are acadians, but they are the only ones without an accent.

This is like ’Allo ’Allo, where all the French characters spoke normal English, but the British spy pretending to be a French postman had an outrageous French accent.
