    How about Greymalkin for a name for Mrs. Snow? It’s Shakespeareian, and she could go by Grey for short.

    Combining Mrs Snow with ‘himself’ it stupefies me that their 13 kittens were so variable in appearance (comic license apparently) LOL

    Ha ha! A thoughtful choice indeed. After looking it up…it seems like it would be a better choice for Grandma Sourpuss as it refers to an ‘old, evil looking female cat.’ So let’s see how that sounds – Greymalkin Sourpuss or Grey Sourpuss. Hmmmm….I think Grey Sourpuss has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? It kind of says it all. I like that.

    Regarding SWMBO, I remember seeing only the very end of that movie as a kid and it was quite freaky. I’d almost forgot about that.

    Ha ha! Yes, there have been many artistic liberties taken in the creation of “Snow Sez…” Good observation, pierreandnicole.

    I made each kitten different so they’d each be distinct to the reader – like real people who have unique personalities. If I had made them all white/grey, it would make it difficult to know one from the other. (Snow already has a hard time to begin with as it is).

    My sweet little Hannah Bee lived to be 16 years and 4 days. I wonder how many of the nine lives that was? Though she was an indoor cat and well taken care of. So I guess maybe that doesn’t count. I also thought the nine lives theory related to outdoor cats.

    Hi T!

    Grandma Sourpuss seems to spread the joy…not. Mrs Snow is glaring at Snow, and even Snow is looking glum in the last panel, very rare for him.

    I know She Who Must Be Obeyed fron the Rumpole of the Bailey series of short stories, by John Mortimer, and their PBS tv incarnations, who always refered to his wife, Hilda, as She Who Must Be Obeyed.

    I have never read SHE by H. Rider Haggard, but am aware of it, and the fearsome Queen Ayesha. 18 years ago this coming Sunday, my own SWMBO and I went our seperate ways. I still dream about her. But, there is a reason people say, never get involved with an insane woman. She had been amrried to an abuser for almost 10 years, and that left it’s mark. I truly wish it had worked out for us, as she is the only woman I have ever even thought about marrying.
    I am told that she is married now, I hope she is happy.
    Oh, well Badgers are really solitary creatures, and happiest as such. But I will still think of Corinne.

    @Dry

    Hi, Dry! I wish I knew how old Snow was – the real Snow. He came to us as a stray. That’s nice that you have the exact age of Hannah Bee – I almost typed in Honey Bee LOL! 16 years is a long time in cat years. You definitely took very good care of her.
