Wow, that is one heavy worm.

Ten seconds into my morning, I had to rescue a pretty hawkmoth from one of my cats who had managed to get the door open overnight. Future tomato worm saved (and yes, I grow several plants) and mystery of why I was COLD over night solved!

Hi, jessegooddoggy! I’m sure that hawkmoth was grateful to see you. Looks like your kitty let himself/ herself out. That’s pretty Smart! Cats are very intelligent.

Ha ha! That’s life for ya. Snow is friends with all the birds so I’m sure that the worm is safe as a new friend to Snow.

If the fall doesn’t kill ya the rejection will. And of course Garfield would’ve splatted him in the next panel.

That was an awfully long fall for such a little guy.

Yes, if worms are as perverse as people,Wiggly Worm probably stopped being thankful he survived, and went on to think “Why didn’t that bird eat me? Is there something wrong with me? Aren’t I good enough for that rotten robin?”

Having just become aware of your strips, I thought I’d take a quick look at them. Couldn’t stop myself going back through the history. These are a lot of fun. AND clever, especially SNOW, and I’m a dog person.

Hi, Patti! For a creature who lives in the dark, he/she does seem to be able to see the bright side of things.

:) I think Garfield only splats spiders. So I think this worm is safe….for now at least.
