The bassets do not have the most pleasing howl! My late shepherd/collie Jesse had a wonderful howl, we encouraged him each time we heard a siren start up, then rewarded him with a biscuit. Our neighbors howled with their great dane, so we weren’t too crazy!

“The bassets to not have the most pleasing how!”
LOL! Hi, jessegooddoggy! That is putting it nicely.
As a kid, we had a Great Dane. Beautiful animal and very gentle spirit. I don’t remember her ever really howling though.

Does anyone notice how the two neighbor icons to the right of the page have gone missing? I hope this is only a temporary technical glitch and not a permanent change. Snow already misses seeing his neighbors Smith and Jones!

Very sad to read that MeeMow McDonnell, one of Patrick’s inspirations for MUTTS has journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge. Extra hugs for all our kitties today!

That is very sad to hear. My heart goes out to him and anyone who has lost a beloved pet. Yes, extra hugs to all the kitties – and dogs and bunnies and all the furry critters out there!

T, the icons are here where I’m sitting.

Where did you read that? I googled the official Mutts site and saw nothing, also Arca Max. Unless I missed something.
Anyway, losing a pet is always said. My sympathies. I find Mutts to be a truly lovely strip.

Hi, Dry! Yes, I see them here now as well. They weren’t here earlier. I notice that the icons are missing on a few other Sherpa pages, but not all. It must be a tech glitch. Nonetheless, I’m glad to see Smith and Jones back!

I also looked on the Mutts site, but I didn’t see anything. I thought I missed something too. It must be on another site.

One of the many things I love about Snow Sez is that unlike most animal strips, Snow and the other animals are not overly anthropomorphic. I think this is why I also love Smith. Mutts and Fred Bassett are the only two syndicated strips that come to mind that share the same quality.
PS: My autocorrect really wants the name of this strip to be Snow Sex.

Snow’s last position is probably what I look like when my three year-old screams at the top of his lungs.

@Garey Mckee, what about “Red and Rover”?
LOL! Sometimes when I type Snow Sez in my search bar, I accidentally hit the x beside the s on the keyboard!

@Dry
It is posted on Mutts Facebook page.

Ha ha! Snow Sex – that’s a whole other strip!
Thanks, Garey! I appreciate that you notice the subtle attributes of the strip.

Snow feels for you. He also wishes he would have gotten some ear plugs for Fishmas.
