    AFLAC is a duck. I think that’s a goose.

    Every Yule, I used to give my wife a goose. She loved it.

    The turkey won’t know anything after it’s over, because he will be eaten by me. Sorry Tom!

    Goose is VERY greasy. I don’t care for it. I have to work Turkey Day, but as i am a batchelor, that is OK. I will make myself a Jennie-O turkey roll. which is concentrated turkey goodness. With mashed taters and corn it is a very acceptable turkey dinner.

    Back in the late 90’s when I worked in Stuttgart, the wife and I tried having goose for Xmas instead of turkey. You’re right. It was horribly greasy. It was so greasy that when the cat jumped on the table and started chowing on the leftover goose we just let her have it. The cat then spent the next day spewing greasy hairballs.

    @Garey Mckee

    Hi, Garey! I have never had goose either. I have to say that my favorite part of the Thanksgiving feast has always been the stuffing and the cranberry sauce.

    SCOTTtheBADGER! FIRST, I MUST tell you how much I LOVED your poem from yesterday!!! It was FANTASTIC! I didn’t know badgers could write such beautiful poetry! :-D Snow especially liked the part about the cats! Winky will be singing this tune ALL season long! It will go down in history as the ALL-TIME GREATEST WEINER DOG CHRISTMAS POEM EVER WRITTEN!

    Secondly, Snow sez… after you are finished serving and protecting, you are always welcome over at his house. Snow will make sure that Winky’s invitation gets lost in the mail as a THANK YOU to you for writing such a wonderful poem. He hopes you will drop by! He will have a warm seat, fit for a badger, reserved for you! :-D
