This is based on a real cat that pads about the garden of my apartment block, staring at stuff. I’ll have to see if I can get a photo of him this weekend and post it on the blog.

He reminds me of the cat from down the road to us, though this one looks friendlier. It used to look at our cat through the window when she was asleep. It must have been like waking with Dracula standing over her, as the cat is declawed and a biter. It has bitten through our screen door more than once. Our cat has moved to a new snoozing spot now.
