I’ve lived in three different apartments that had gas fireplaces, and none of them worked. They were just useless and hard to arrange furniture around.

It reminds me of Red Green opening his mail and reading a letter by a guy who asked him if he should get a fireplace with propane or natural gas…his reply? “Here in the non-city areas, we have this thing called wood. Wood grows on trees, usually.”
