   tr and MS; Thank heavens you guys don’t live in Quebec.
   I wanted to watch what the world had to say about Obama today and my mother wanted to understand a word of it, so I switched to news from Quebec. Boom! Quebecers are called to the polls december 8th to choose their next premier (the Canadian exquivalent of a state governor). All that after federal elections two weeks ago and months of following the US election. I don’t live in Quebec but all main french-canadian media are from Montreal and just assume all french-speaking canadians live in Quebec (of 8 million french-canadians, 6 live in Quebec) so every time we watch the news, we’ll hear about the election in Quebec like nothing else matters.
   We had to switch to France-french tv (TV5, that broadcasts also in Canada) to get news about Obama.
