GoComics is delighted to re-introduce "Skippy." The legendary comic created by Percy Crosby debuted in 1923 and ran in newspapers until 1945.
Hailed by critics, fellow cartoonists and readers as a "classic," it's easy to see how "Skippy" inspired comics like "Peanuts" and "Calvin and Hobbes." We hope you enjoy this glimpse back in time with one of the most-beloved characters of the mid-20th Century.

I don’t care what ‘president’ these buffoons may be discussing. The language in panel two is creepily extreme.

I see trouble ahead! I wouldn’t want to be a Moose, unless, of course, the little guy is just going to share some more of his jokes with the guys.

One of my favorite old-time comics. While in the Marine Corps during WW2 I commented on this strip so often I picked up the nick name “Skippy”.

Cool! Maybe you can be the “go to guy” when there’s a reference in Skippy that a lot of the younger folks don’t understand. I’m a real Baby Boomer, and some of the stuff can be hard to follow.
