UC Davis didn’t think it was possible when I explored the idea of doing a doctorate each in bio and jurisprudence. Considering how easy law is (500 level law classes and training/working with ESA/NEPA/MS/NWFP etc. are both on my resume) it was doable. A pity I couldn’t convince them. I’d already done a M.S.E.E. and B.S. in geology concurrently, despite having my thyroid kill itself during that period.

Neurobiology and Engineering = Brain canners.
Just as easy to fix as a xerox copier, but doesn’t jam as often. The only tricky part is replacing the toner cartridges…

My, my, and your mother must be so very proud of you. I’ll bet you can crush ice in your bare hands, build suspension bridges in your back yard as a hobby, peddle bicycles uphill with unflagging speed, and you know precisely where all the items at Vons are located (along with their replenishment points).
Me, I got my MdBS from the Close-Cover-Before-Striking University of Flint, and have only managed to have a successful career in flatulence farming. You, sir, are an inspiration to us all, and please know that I (for one) will be able to die content and happy, just knowing that there are pure specimens of humanity such as yourself gliding amongst us lesser mortals.

I’d be willing to bet that someone could fix it with a masters in engineering. PHDs tend to be somewhat overrated outside of academia.

I’m all for everyone being polymath problem solvers. It’s distressing that education in the US isn’t producing very many.
