    Sweetheart is confused as to which is more disturbing – a sadistic Whimsey wind-up, or the fact that Tip enjoys being dominated…

    I crap musical numbers, too! Wanna see?

    Since this is alternate-universe bizarro stuff – this strip HAS to have originate from a quantum-magnetic rip in the fabric of the universe.

    @Raygun

    It is a little side story from one of the extra-cosmic programmers that monitor our universe they created in their “computer.”

    Three Steps,

    Given that Tip was a Leftennant in the army, he had to have learned to deal with the Sadistic Drill Sargent thing. As I understand it, his “Ma’am yes Ma’am” is not unlike the way a recruit in boot camp would respond to a drill Sargent. The only thing is that I thought “Sir” and “Ma’am” were reserved for addressing officers.

    @Darwinskeeper

    In Basic, it was “Sir” to all instructors. They were getting you in the habit of showing respect. Afterward, you would find most NCOs prefer to be addressed by rank.
    It could be a little confusing. I was “Young Sarge” to my supervisor’s “Old Sarge” for a few months before I was discharged.
