   Reminds me of a “Brewster Rockit” Zombie Planet episode. A doctor determined that a shot zombie was dead, and the others were relieved to hear it.

   Deader than dead is the key. One good blow or gun shot to the head kills the nexus of the invading organism. Why do you think they need fresh blood and meant? To feed the parasitic virus of course!!!
