    A concealed carry stopped the terrorist at the Klackamas Town Center two weeks ago. That is why it hardly made the news— the media wants as many victims as possible.

    Having lost two cousins to two felons who were not supposed to even have guns, I really dislike the media’s idea of making for more victims with gun control.

    If they really wanted to do something about gun crime, if they had any compassion at all, they’d be at least a little concerned with the 8,000 (of 11,000 annually) homicides that are committed by black Americans on other black Americans. (I’m hoping none of them are relatives). I never see the media doing anything like the last two weeks of damnable crocodile tears when four or five or ten (or 40+ by a women gang recently in NYC) people are shot in a drive-by shooting or when 2 to 3 every day were being killed in portland in the mid 1990s. The solution, as shown by Oregon’s Measure 11, was to put those who murder in jail, so they couldn’t hurt anyone else. When it passed, the murder rate in Portland dropped by more than 80%. Instead, it’s “get rid of guns” and defund the prisons, and legalize pot.

    @Nabuquduriuzhur the shooter shot himself. the story about the concealed carry guy said he didn’t shoot. he thought he would shoot people behind the gunman. it’s clackamas town center. my sister has a concealed carry, her niece in law married and divorced a real nut. she practices all the time, but if a person hasn’t shot in a while, they could up the victim count instead of helping!

    You digress. My comment was about attracting more flesh eaters. This is a zombie apocalypse in a locked down house scenario. Not about our present gun and mental health problems.
