while tip is a psychologist, rather than a psychiatrist, one wonders if his normal apparel and ways of doing things is a joke on how so many “mental health professionals” are more neurotic (or even more psychotic) than their patients.

Psychotic, doubtful. When is the mental health profession not made fun of in this manner? But Tip is interesting considering his female look and his penchant for bisexuality. Just ads to the ultramundane aspect of this series. Tip is the most normal in it!
