How dumb. How much do you get paid Signe?
Did you agree to it? Did you ask for more, but were told no because you’re a woman?

This is what the Cons say. But I still have not seen what they claim, as you do, as to what is needed to explain the discrepancy.

I heard some interesting discussions on the subject on NPR during my morning commute. A study found that women negotiate a better pay deal when they are doing it for another woman, vs. haggling for herself. That better negotiation skills and techniques are needed to overcome gender bias, as well as an innate tendency to underbid herself (the source of which could be cultural or genetic – or both). Women on the average seem to be more socially adept, and so might be more accommodating or acquiescent to employers.
    .
It’s just one facet, of course, but I think that some kind of assertiveness and job search training should be a requirement before a college diploma is awarded.

“Thats right, Conserve, attack the messenger, the cowards way of doing things”. -——————————————————————————————————
Lol. When you say (or draw) stupid things, you are asking for a response.
Also when YOU type dumb comments, which is daily, you ask to be ridiculed.
Funny how you like to attack posters here constantly, but ironically you get offended when people criticize any of your favorite politicians.
I’m not sure if you are mentally “slow” or if you’re just crazy, but maybe ask a friend to review your comments before you hit the SUBMIT button.

The following two quotes are from a 2009 study commissioned by the U.S. Department of labor.

“There are observable differences in the attributes of men and women that account for most of the wage gap. Statistical analysis that includes those variables has produced results that collectively account for between 65.1 and 76.4 percent of a raw gender wage gap of 20.4 percent, and thereby leave an adjusted gender wage gap that is between 4.8 and 7.1 percent.”

“However, despite these gains the raw wage gap continues to be used in misleading ways to advance public policy agendas without fully explaining the reasons behind the gap.”

Once again Obama and his minions are lying to the people in order to secure votes from the ignorant.

Too bad Jim Guess’s very insightful comment got drowned out by the partisan flame war.
