Where do you suppose he got the cash? Maybe at an ATM? Unlikely his employer pays him in cash. Seems like he must still have a bank account of some kind. Would work if his mom was the bank teller.

While nothing is failsafe, I really have taken checks to the bank -in person – and cashed them. That makes it much harder to hack.

What are a few RAM-scraping viruses among friends? As far as we know, none of those viruses have made it onto any bank’s ATM operating system, only onto one retailer’s PoS software, and only a few people (between 40 million and 110 million) were affected.

ATM attacks usually involve putting what anti-Arab racists call a ‘Lebanese loop’ in the slot, which is hardware, not a virus, and any given ‘Lebanese loop’ only affects one ATM at a time, not every single ATM the way the virus spread and infected most of the PoS software systems.

Except your bank information is most likely already accessible online. What happened to Target could happen to any modern internet connected bank.

He’s so happy having just cashed his unemployment and welfare checks seeing as how nobody is hiring Liberal Arts majors with no useful skills like Sociologists…!

K-Mart was created by the S.S. Kresge company, of Kresge’s 5+10 cent store fame.
That’s where the “K” came from.

Of course, I have seen stores where the cashiers almost don’t know how to deal with “cash” since so few people use it nowadays. I once encountered a cashier at a McDonald’s that could not figure out the change for a $4.73 purchase from a $5 bill since the computer was down…

Progressive Leftists Adrian seem to hate both (people and business). They rail against business on a number of issues from pay to worker treatment to how they conduct their operations.
With people I don’t see anything equivalent to say the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement on the Right.

@CCNJ's say the sky is falling

The problem with you (not conservatives, YOU) is you spend all your time fantasizing about what others do and believe instead of focusing on your own thinking. Try it some time, you might figure a few things out.

    K-Mart saved by Sears??
I call bull. K-Mart came out of bankruptcy and almost immediately BOUGHT OUT Sears & Roebuck.

I see no hate of business. Just a need to reign it in and protect the worker the way the business is protected. No hate there.
