Unfortunately, too many Americans have been so brainwashed by Fox News and other GOP mouthpieces to see what damage the GOP has done to America over the last 32 years.
Once upon a time, we could depend on our government to keep on going despite any crisis, and for our nation’s companies to keep Americans at work, with lifelong loyalties in many cases.
The greedy and the far-right that now control the GOP have perverted their party and this country so that the average American sticks up for the very people who are keeping them under their thumbs and further fattening their already-bulging wallets, while the average American struggles to make it from paycheck to paycheck.
Let’s also not forget all those American jobs that have been sent to China and India. What would happen if World War III was to break out? Our manufacturing capacity has all been shipped to China.
America’s industrial might, which was once the greatest in world history, is exactly what won World War II.

The democrats are a whole lot better at a time like this. The GOP alone is sending this country into a financial crisis that may soon undo the steady recovery made since the Bush Depression.

    FUNNY!

The libtards TOTALLY forget that Liberty means FREEDOM from the tyranny of government! We fought against England for our FREEDOM!

Then, the libtards wanted the government to take care of them … and, guess what? The government took away our freedoms to do that.

    Sigh … libtards …

So let me see if I can do a “cliff notes” version of your post:
    .
    Democrats: good, benevolent and holy.
    Republicans: The embodiment of evil.
    .
See how easy that was? I reduced your intellectually bankrupt rambling into 2 easy to read sentences.

I read the article you recommended yesterday. Thanks. As expected, it noted the shortage of doctors, and gave many correct causes, almost all of which were in play before Obamacare became the law of the land. Not to say that Obamacare will ameliorate the problem. If the way the insurance system treats doctors is the true root of the problem, giving more business to insurance companies will just make the problem worse. There is much expense, legal mumbo-jumbo, and high stakes in the doctor biz, with almost no reward. (Making people suffer less should be its own reward, but that don’t pay the mortgage….) People with good brains can make way more money with way less investment in time and money, and do it much faster, in other lines of work. Why would anyone want to be a doctor these days? And until we can have a good answer to that question, we will continue to have shortages. Thanks for the reference.

Before the 1930’s, government was mostly “shutdown” all the time. I wonder how our ignorant backward forebears ever survived?

Libertards starting with you possibly. Liberty to live not to die. Govt is there to even out between those who have and those who don’t. The govt is only as good as the people we send there. Unfortunately the few, the ultra rich own so many of them they get their people in, not us.

It is easy to be better than Republicans these says. All you have to do is to be less selfish and obstructive. They can do that in their sleep.

We know that the problem is bipartisan. That those of us who don’t want the status quo to remain are at a loss. Both parties seem to represent the rich and business over the people.
