Funny, it is the Republicans trying to get a partial spending bill going as we speak.

“Meth Damon”? Ms Ima, you can pretend to be intelligent; you can’t pretend to be clever.

Not funny at all. A partial spending bill is an end-run around doing their jobs. If they don’t like Obamacare, vote to change it, or vote in a replacement. Deciding only to fund what they want to fund is no way to govern, and not all voters are as stupid as many of these posters seem to wish we are.

It’s all pretense, anyway. Never any substance.

Are you smoking crack? Obamacare is not a government health plan (although we should have single payer). The real meth that the government hands out is corporate welfare and tax breaks for the rich. Obamacare is pure capitalism, it’s a conservative plan hatched up by the likes of the Heritage Foundation and Romney.

It’s not a clean bill, though, it’s a ransom letter, with insane demands. They lost the election, so they don’t get to have their way because they’ve got a gun to our heads. If they want to govern, let them pass a clean CR (how about a clean budget?) and then address the ACA through the proper channels. The ACA is the law. What part of law don’t you get?

Ready to go back to the Gilded Age are we? Are you a millionaire? You might want to check out how well that worked out for people who were not. You might as well live in Somalia.

First no one has a gun to my head, second here is a crazy thought, how about all of us earning are own way. Last what part of the law I don’t get, the 1200 waivers for companies alone. Then the Congressional waiver, the 10 states that lost existing plans when we were told we all would be able to keep our insurance, Last and the most scary is the White House keep changing the rules, last I heard it has been 17 times.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/08/07/the-white-house-keeps-changing-obamacare-is-that-legal/

So what is the part you get?

How about the fact that the United States is the only industrialized nation on earth that does not consider single-payer, universal health care as a basic human right??
Only in America do we oppose it, instead siding with the insanely-rich insurance companies that keep on raking in obscene profits from “we the people” yet try to deny claims.

Now if the PPACA was as bad as all of you Cons are saying you would warn but let it go. And when it failed as you predict you would swoop in on a landslide, take over and repeal it.

Unfortunately for you it isn’t that way at all. So you fight tooth and nail, lie out all orifices to stop what you know will be very popular in a year or so.

Right now before ACA our health care mostly only helped the ones who could afford it. Now more can use it so help them. How is that going to “destroy them?”
