A misleading cartoon. Francis did NOT say gays are ok. He was saying hate the sin, not the sinner. And he still clarified that a gay person should be a non-practicing gay.

    “non-practicing gay.”

    Non-practicing gay? rotfl!
It is all about sex to you guys, isn’t it.
Am I heterosexual, or homosexual, just because I have sex?
If someone loves (or just likes or is simply attracted to ) another, it’s not just “practicing”, someone is already doing, no sex involved.

What Francis said was: “If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?” Francis asked. “You can’t marginalize these people.”

To judge is to focus on the dust speck in your neighbor’s eye rather than looking at the beam in your own. To judge is to casts stones when you have no right due to your own sin.

To be honest, the whole focus on sexuality – so very NOT emphasized in scripture – has been one of the church’s greatest departures FROM the faith of Christ. His focus was on caring for and loving the marginalized and challenging the established religious order to let go of it’s exclusivity.

PA’s law is in clear violation of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as well as Article I, Sections 26 and 28 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

To those who may tour Pennsylvania, I strongly suggest visiting the Capitol building in Harrisburg. It is an extremely-beautiful building, especially inside, with treasures for the eye in any direction that you turn.

He was talking about the forgiveness of sin his comment was “If they accept the Lord and have good will, who am I to judge them”?

Just because you can love the sinner you can still hate the sin. Sounds to me the reporters who are writing about the Pope’s comment do not know enough of the history of Christianity to give an informed opinion.

Good point but what is the quality of his knowledge, saying that this is an incredible comment is an opinion in itself.

I really don’t blame them, so few people know what they don’t know or are aware they don’t know of about a common issues, because so many of us have had conversations about religion we think we know what we are talking about but truth is we just follow the heard.

The Pope did not say anything thing that had not been said before.

First John Paul said, “Homosexuals must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity”, so sorry your wrong, it has been expressed before.

Then you seem a little disingenuous twice on your post, talking about blackmail with no examples then asking some from myself. I gave you an example, so now give me one, of a priest being blackmailed. Second I made a point as to hate the sin lover the sinner but you asked several questions that was addressed by that comment.

One more point, you just proved me right you know, you spoke of things you just don’t know about.
