    Oh, this cartoon is so wrong. Republicans are doing everything they can to improve the country and the lives of its citizens.
    -
    The country needs more jobs, improvements to its health care system, its education system, and simplification of the income tax code. And spending priorities need to be specified so that budget cuts cause the least amount of pain.
    -
    Yes, Republicans are working night and day trying to resolve all these and other important issues. Yes, sir.

    AGAIN with the he did it too excuse.

    Bush was in office for eight years. All his “war crimes” had the approval of the other two branches of government.

    I’m sure there are no statutes of limitations on war crimes. Get your buddies to bring charges today you seem to think you have enough evidence to succeed so go for it.

    While you deny that Benghazi, the IRS deal, AP phone records grab are scandals, the pattern of corruption and lies is slapping you in the face. The American people deserve better.

    You’re so prefect why don’t you run for office?

    @Bruce4671

    I’d love to run for office – on a new “99%” ticket. Unfortunately, I have a few “warts” in my past that would otherwise disqualify me for politics (misdemeanors, no felonies).
    I would ask for a complete slate of average Americans who are not beholden to the moneyed elite to run for Congress alongside me. Infrastructure would be brought into the 21st century. Our reliance on foreign oil would be eliminated by 2050. The decision whether to outlaw marijuana would be returned to the states, where it belongs. For those states which decide to legalize it, there would also be a federal tax on it. Reforms would be brought about to curb the effectiveness of lobbyists. Term limits would be placed on Congress. Gerrymandering would be outlawed by Constitutional amendment ("Decennial redistricting of Congressional districts shall result in districts which shall be as compact and contiguous as possible).

    @AshburnStadium

    Whereever you live, PLEASE go to the office of the elections supervisor and find out what it would take to run for your first office. Start small and work hard.

    We need honest, ethical public servants. Do you qualify?

    I think the point of this cartoon has more to do with congress having devolved into a constant political campaign rather than a legislative body.

    This is ridiculous how the liberals are using outright lies to deceive people into thinking they do no wrong. The Democrats make up lies about what they did, and then they accuse the Republicans of making up the lies.

    Republicans reach an all time low, but a high level of dysfunction. Having smeared and spun themselves into a corner crying wolf, Republicans have shown they aren’t interested in jobs, or the average American! http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/opinion/56303538-82/republicans-senate-perez-washington.html.csp

    The talking point that Ambassador Rice used was redone 12 times we now know and we are accused of making stuff up. Sigh!
