    How about Barrack tries caring about the average worker, not just his rich Hollywood friends and freeloaders on welfare?

    How about you read the Lilly Ledbettter act, the first law he signed. Or is “worker” for you just males?

    You mean the freeloaders like the elderly 25 million or so that depend upon social security ( with the funding that they paid for with FICA taxes all their working years) to keep them from abject poverty?

    So, if social security was somehow cancelled (as you seem to want in other posts) would you even be willing to take care of even your own parents, or would you be such a compassionate conservative as to see them living on the street our of a cardboard box instead??

    Typical Teapublican nonsense. Spout our “Christian”: heritage while ignoring anything Jesus said about “Love thy neighbor” or Rendering unto Caesar.

    There are many Dems disappointed with Mr. Obama’s concessions to R’s. It is my hope Mr. Obama will hear the voices of MLK regarding the topics listed in the cartoon, but that he will also treat climate change as the threat 90% of the world science committee believe it to be to our financial future, our national security, and then there’s all of those silly people living along the shore, in tornado alley, or in areas stricken with drought and chronic firestorms.
    Respectfully,
    C.

    Would Lincoln and MLK support gay marriage and giving money to foreign dictators under the lie of ‘man made global warming’?

    Would our founders support gay marriage? Abortion wasn’t on their radar either, but it wasn’t made illegal until the late 1800s. Times change. And again we get back to original intent. If we just go with what the Founders wrote, we would have a cold dead document that would have no meaning except for their lifetimes. Fortunately we have a country where ideas can be debated, minds changed, and wrongs righted. Or should we go back to slavery and the 3/5 person, as the Founders wrote? (Or is that INTENDED?)

    Slaves were considered 3/5 person only for calculating the representation of the slave-holding states, so that they did not wield undue power based on their population. This made sense because those states obviously would not allow slaves to vote.
    In other words, it was done to limit the power of slave-holding states. Do you wish that they did not?

    Little Miss Ima no one justifies gay marriage or foreign aid with global warming except for you tea bagging morons. Get a clue crybaby, global warming is real and gay marriage is here to stay. Besides you republicans are more prolific at wasting taxpayer money supporting foreign dictators like corrupt Karzai.

    Isn’t it ironic that the evangelical christian lunatic fringers can’t seem to find this message in their big book of lies.

    @HOWGOZIT

    No ZIT, the freeloaders as referred to in the “47%” comment are retirees, low wage/no benefits (republican utopia) workers and military personnel. But you are beneath ever admitting that, so you just continue to spew the party’s lies and spin, hoping to find a few weak-minded morons who will believe it.

    Actually I referred to people on welfare. That includes people who get FREE checks to pay for their housing, food stamps and fake disability, all of which are at record highs under O. Those are able-bodied people who would prefer to play video games and work under the table one day a week while collecting a government check instead of working for a living like the rest of us.
    I have no clue how you threw military personnel into that group, unless you have some kind of animosity toward them.
    Also, retirees who actually PAID for their retirement and those that work for a living were never mentioned.
