Conservatives can’t be for ALL freedoms, of course. That’d be silly.

Conservatives are for their freedom to tell you what to do. So are some Liberals. The question is how much autonomy should we the individual have ourselves?

But keep minorities away from the polls.

@Rickapolis
The Black Panthers were keeping minorities away?

The individual should exercise all of the freedom available to them. To many sit around waiting for someone else to tell them what to do.

No Mike, but multiple CONservative organizations perpetrated numerous schemes to suppress the minority vote, from billboards threatening deportation and jail to telling communities that the voting place was moved or the voting day was changed to the contentious voter ID laws that suddenly had to be rushed through in 2012. If voter fraud was such an issue shouldn’t the push have started right after the last election? Not months before the next election that wasn’t forecast to be kind to the republicans?
You make a valid point but you also conveniently ignore the greater, also very valid point being made. I’m disappointed.

The Black Panthers kept zero people away from the polls. Republican state governments disenfranchised tens of thousands. There’s a difference in scale.

@ARodney
Both a larger scale and many orders of magnitude. Now they want to cut the votes in half concerning state’s population that vote Democratic even if the leadership is all Red Republicans. They want to cut the amount of electoral votes to be divided between R & D in the states where Obama won.
