   Israel has thrown a lot more back, and with much greater accuracy, and payload. Both sides suck, but one side has a lot better PR operation going.

   A police action must protect and serve, so they must go in and get the terrorist and make sure no one else is harmed. If you’ve watched old WWII films of the US Army liberating Europe, the US troops would run to the apartment tower with a nest of Nazi snipers shooting at them, rescue all the innocent tenants, and kill all the Nazis.

   
   War is different. In war, the goal is to kill the enemy with minimum risk to your own troops, so instead of risking troops by having them run to the building, drop some large bombs or use artillery and kill everyone in the building without risking any losses on your side. The terrorist is the one guilty of all the collateral deaths.

   
   Some would say the world should engage in more police actions and less war, but all those people are on the loony left. Almost everyone who comments here agrees that war is the best approach against those terrorists, not risking the lives of troops on our side in a police action.

   
   (Of course, a terrorist is just someone who fought for the other, losing side. If his side wins, or if he was on our side, then he was a patriot.)

   Bad cartoon Wiley, Hamas is only half of the problem. If I were a Palestinian I would be shooting off rockets too considering how the Israelis run their own Gaza Concentration Camp and cry Lebensraum as they steal all Palestinian land. Israel has no interest in the peace process until they’ve stolen all Palestinian land.

    If you believe the Biblical predictions, the world will end because of war in the middle east. It has seemed close numerous times in the past, and it seems close again.
