Boehner is the nowhere man, sitting in his nowhere land, making all his nowhere plans for nobody.
braindead08 said, 6 months ago
Wasn’t it two years ago that Boehner and the Republicans ran on the platform that they were _going_to cut spending?
-
He was asked about specific cuts repeatedly and his response was that they were going to have meetings every week and those meeting would result in spending cut proposals.
-
Refusal to propose specific cuts worked great last time, so why not repeat?
-
Republicans idea of proposing spending cuts is to demand that Democrats do so.

How can the G.O.P. cut anything? The demorats control the Senate and are able the block anything in H.O.R. Both parties have got to give and take. The voters are responsible for the mess, we had a chance to clean house, we didn’t.

And, of course, the Republicans have blocked nothing and are fully cooperative about compromise…Then there’s the one about the Irishman who walks into a bar…
Wait? What? You say you WEREN’T joking???

One could reverse Democrats and Republicans in your pos tand still have the same thing. Perfidious and procrastinating politicians posing and posturing for the press and not presenting any practical, precise proposals for the public to peruse.
“P” on them!

He must be reading the Senate’s budget from this year. Or last year. Or the year before. Or the year before.

They can’t. Their goal is to save the rich.

Hey jim smurf – The Democrats can’t block anything in the House you moron because there’s no filibuster in the House. That’s the Senate, moron, where your pal Witch McConnell blocks basically everything. Maybe you in the political minority should get a clue about being more mainstream, but you’re just not intelligent enough to think that smartly.

Fool Me Once, Shame on You
Fool Me Twice, Shame on Me.
Like most politicians Boehner has a very short term memory. The voting public is devleoping a very Long Memory.

I"m sorry for this country we give million of people homes here and the people that pay taxes are losing theirs because they can not get a job because these people will work under the table. Lets wake up
ARodney said, 6 months ago
Wow. Ronald, you could start by waking up yourself. We are not giving millions of homes to illegal immigrants, despite what some hate spewers are telling you on the right. You want to know what happened to jobs? Look to the widest wealth gap since 1929 and the overseas job tax credits defended by the GOP.

Sadly, only people from the congressman’s district can vote for/against him. Were it not so, Boner would be long gone now.

They only cut spending in places that help people and this country. When given the chance such “savings” are given to their patron saints the über rich. We all suffer the consequences of those actions.
