I haven’t watched PBS in a while. Is the entire channel just Big Bird going insane from loneliness? Must be, to hear the libs tell it. Mitt’s right! Why should my tax dollars pay for that?

No, the entire channel is not just kid’s programming. They have been showing science programs long before the Science Channel came along…. or DIY shows… just to name what I can off the top of my head.
If you really want to know what PBS serves up try TV Guide‘s website or the one for PBS.
.
I mentioned TV Guide’s website simply because they show all the channels in your area, so it’d show your local PBS station as well.

If most of the country thought Mitt had solutions, it’s because they are too ill informed to know that he was constantly lying….

And cutting PBS’s money will free up enough to maybe but 2 anchors, and a propeller for a Navy Destroyer!

That’s it! The people are stupid. That’s how to win, insult voters.

Magnetic railgun for the Navy. Flying laser for the Airforce. Exoskeletons for the Army. Micro-drones to spy on every citizen. Blimps with cameras over every occupied city. ICBMs with conventional warheads. What’s next? Skynet? You lost your collective marbles after 9/11…

I believe the standard was “I will ask is this worth borrowing money from China to pay for it”
Plus the taxpayer only supplies what 12% of Big birds budget. Oh well I am sure they can find another letter to support what little they might lose.

Your user name describes you perfectly. Open your mind, turn off Faux Noise and look at exactly who is really lying and who is actually behind the average American.
Romney actually OPENLY said that he didn’t care about nearly half of Americans.
Unfortunately, it’s now popular for many Americans to be PROUD to be uneducated! This is a damned shame.

“I haven’t watched PBS in a while… Mitt’s right! Why should my tax dollars pay for that?”
By that way of thinking I should demand we get rid of tax payer funded education and all senior citizen assistance (Medicare and what not). I have no family who uses it, so why should my tax dollars pay for it?
I’ll tell you why: Because that’s the price of living in modern society. If you only want to pay for what’s beneficial to you, go live in Sommalia.

Romney was discussing campaign and finance strategy with people that understood that context. He alluded to a large group of voters that are satisfied with the status quo because they are on the government dole, and explained that his campaign needed to look for votes and contributions elsewhere. He did not express any other opinion about them, nor say that he does not care about them.
On the contrary, his plans and his record show that he does care.
You claim that people with whom you disagree are uneducated. If you are educated, you know that substituting abusive remarks for for evidence is fallacious and repugnant, and that your statement about Romney not caring about nearly half of Americans is not based in fact.
I believe the shame you feel for others is misplaced.

Wilkinson shows it correct that R’money wants to waste money on a big military buildup that will end up being a waste, just like Raygunz’s military buildup he put on the credit card. R’money hasn’t explained how he’ll pay for an extra 100,000 troops the generals don’t even want or need.

Why should our local schools be a Federal concern? We have state and local governments that are supposed to handle our local matters.
