Pretty sad that Romney the Chickenhawk is the best the Republicans can offer.
The suspense is on: who will be picked for Veep? Santorum? Trump? Caine? Bachman? Palin? Newt? Cheney? Perry?
What a collection.

Yep, even though their friends – the Insurance Industry – stands to make billions with the new enrollees, Republicans cannot stand to see Americans benefit from something President Obama made happen.

And how does this create jobs?

Obama expanded RomneyCare to the whole nation, with the Individual Mandate that Newt Gingrich had LONG been campaigning for, and now the GOP says that they’ll repeal everything that they had been asking for.

The TRULY sad part is that if a Republican President and Congress had passed the EXACT same bill, they would be hailing it as the greatest thing for the American people EVER, but since a Democrat passed it, it must be destroyed!

Ain’t much better than the two buffoons we had in 2008, and one got elected AND received the Nobel Peace prize! I still have not seen what qualified Obamer after being in office less than a year, after a short stint in Illinois mis-politics………………………
Big money just does not let the really qualified, but underfunded candidates, have a chance in hell of winning a primary, let alone a spot on a big ticket, nomatter the party. I have not seen anything worth a vote with either party for many years now, and that is what the future also seems to hold for the next bunch of voters.

What also qualified another short-term senator from Illinois nearly 150 years before?
He had only been a state representative until the IL legislature sent him to the U.S. Senate (back then, there was no direct vote for the Senate).
His name was Abraham Lincoln. By the way, Lincoln was a Republican.

Besides, there are only three qualifications required in the U.S. Constitution to be president under Article II, Section 1.
First, you must be a natural-born citizen (with Obama’s mom being a natural-born citizen, born in Kansas, it doesn’t matter even if Obama wasn’t born in the STATE of Hawaii).
Second, you must be 35 years of age.
Third, you must have been a resident of the U.S. for 14 years.
The third part covers those who lived abroad during part of their lives – apparently, that law disqualifies those in the diplomatic service who haven’t been back in the U.S for 14 years.

Lincoln freed the slaves. Obama made all Americans economic ObamaTaxCare slaves.

AGAIN, Not a tax if you have insurance.

As I understand it, no one would have to pay this “tax” if everyone just buys health insurance. It’s a funny tax that everyone could avoid paying.

yawn, so general and out right lies, but I have grown real tired of them… yawn.

@ The GOP offers absolutely nothing.
And taxocrats replace “nothing” with their brand of marxist tyranny. Oh I forgot, anyone who opposes tyranny is a RAY-CISS.

“apparently, that law disqualifies those in the diplomatic service who haven’t been back in the U.S for 14 years.”
You forget that embassies are territories owned by the nation they represent. E.G. The Ecuadorian embassy in the UK is considered Ecuadorian soil, which is why Julian Assange is hiding out there to avoid extradition.
