Our government needs to get off the backs of the abortion industry business, privatize it, and allow the free market to produce profits.

Pointing a finger at the gross exception, and violator, while NRA remains exempt, and Arlington Cemetery is filling up? We are “oxymoron nation”.

It’s beginning to look like the real oxymoron is calling us a nation at all.

i don’t think she’s condemning abortion; look at all the security cameras. our society is very selective about who we scrutinize. i think the point she’s trying to make is that we would find ‘bad apples’ anywhere if we looked.

How did that lunatic in Arizona get a gun? How did this lunatic “doctor” get a license (or patients)? How did Wall Street upend the economy?

Its not because regulators exist, it is because they have not been allowed to do their jobs since the Reagan era.

And we whine about corruption in China…

All above; now we are entering something beyond science. We won’t know for sure in this life.

Nailed it! And the rest of you folks spouting random abortion advocacy slogans like Chatty Cathy dolls whose strings are stuck, try opening your minds and doing a little research.

Chatoyant, he got patients because there are poor, and/or immigrant women who are desperate.

Oh, for a time when women get pregnant only when they want to!

Not that that would end all abortions, there would still be the malformed fetuses.

Science isn’t the only way of thought, you know. Some matters (most) are better left to science and some others (things science can’t prove; the before- or afterlife, compassion, why do we exist, existential questions) should be left to sirituality (not necessarly pre-thought religion, that is becoming little more than a political program those days).

Wisdom is to know what should be left to science and what should be left to faith. Ousting spirituality is as bad as never listening to science (like the creationnists do).

Not all people who believe in God are creationnists who just ignore science.

Some just say that science has its limits. It can explain everything except the “why” of everything we can feel through our senses but there are things we can’t see or hear. Even scientists admit that

Science says that the universe started with an explosion of gases. Science can’t tell why it exploded (or why whatever caused that explosion happened).

Saying it was a coincidence doesn’t satsfy most people.

Some atheists are just as pushy as DisgustedTaxpayer when it comes to spreading their spiritual beliefs (denying spiritual thought is still a form of spirituality). That’s just trading a dogma for another.

Yes, it is interesting, isn’t it? All these other cameras looking away, while the one abortion clinic has the one camera actually pointed where it will see something…

    Good point, Ms. Wilkinson…
