We can do something about this, we don’t have to take this. There are attempts to limit salaries and bonuses of companies that took money. But we have to demand this.

Don’t forget, If you cheat on your taxes your consequences is that you get appointed to a post by Obama. Isn’t that nice.

It’s completely backward. None of the things happened because of a “free market.” All of the things above are due to government intervention. Bank bailouts, govenment apppointees, and taxes are all government items. All are things to ridicule but not as a shot at free markets.

That’s the point, John. The “Free Market” got bailed out, first by the Bush Administration, and then continued in different form by Obama. It’s a sarcastic comment on how we actually participated in it, not the Free Market itself.

I feel human greed is everywhere, both in the free market and in the government. Systems that survive most vigorously are those that manage to balance one against the other. This is delicate and hard work. If either liberal or conservative systems worked better, the choice of government style would be easy.

trust the free market and bail it out with taxpayer funds when it goes too far in the pursuit of personal wealth

You noticed that too, huh, Harleyquinn? Isn’t it amazing the bad deed and events that fall through the cracks when someone gets hired by the government? Small business owners are much more careful who they hire than the government is!
