Killing Doctors to save lives,,, Something is definetly messed up.

Appropriate cartoon. It could be hypocrisy but it could also be insanity (or a mix of both).

Just a thought, how different is this abortion murder from war? Are we not killing in Iraq and Afghanistan to “save lives”?

You Leftists must love when a nutjob comes out of the woodwork like this and gives you an opportunity to once more say that Christians are all murderous nuts and knuckle dragging goofballs. How convenient for you so that you can ignore all the orphanages, hospitals, and other works of charity that the Church supports. How wonderful that you can ignore all the lives of sacrifice such as Mother Theresa and instead concentrate upon this one deranged psychopath and insist that he is representative of all Christians everywhere. Then you can take the next step, which I over on display at the Huffington Post, and call for acts of revenge against “religious terrorists”.
You have your day. Enjoy it. We know our Lord reigns and in the end, all injustices, including this one, will be set right.

Eddie, I’m a Christian and I don’t think that all Christians are “murderous nuts and knuckle dragging goofballs”. Nor do I think that all anti-choice folks are such. I do, however, think this toon is spot on regarding the specific incident that occurred in Kansas.
And I don’t think that anyone with a heart loves it when such an event happens.

“[This tragedy] gives [leftists] an opportunity to once more say that Christians are all murderous nuts and knuckle dragging goofballs”
…who’s been saying this now?

Nobody is saying all Christians are murderous nuts but it just takes one.

Actually, it was Jesus himself who said he came not to bring peace to the world, but came with a sword. – Matthew- 10:34

Dtroutma, I’m pretty sure you’re just saying that to stir things up. Because nobody in their right mind believes that Jesus was talking about something like this.

tpenna, as usual, you are right. Jesus never taught violence against another human being – this was a metaphorical sword indicating that to follow him would not be all sweetness and light but would indeed lead to conflict.
dtroutma, I generally agree with most everything you say, but I do think you give that quote completely out of context.

Go over to Huffington Post and read the articles in response to this story.
Christians are portrayed in the nastiest possible light by the columnists over there.
