Bad caricature of Bogie, but I will say that camel leather makes a wonderful jacket. I have an airman’s jacket made of dark brown camel leather and it is sturdy and shiny. Perfection in itself.

Back in the !850s, the US army experimented with camels as beasts of burden in the Arizona desert. There is a camel driver’s grave in Quartzsite, AZ.
