    Remember the Studebaker Avanti c. 1965? My high school buddy called its styling bold. It was too “radical” for me but it would fit in well today.

    it’s all a matter of taste. I much prefer the fins and chrome of the 50s to the Mutant Asian Insect designs of today.

    The winner of the award for “the most ugly cars by one manufacturer” has got to be AMC. The Javelin, the Matador, the Gremlin, the Eagle… I sure do miss them, though. I’ll take ugly over boring any day.

    I always thought Chrysler’s equivalent to GM’s Cadillac was the Imperial, just as Ford’s is the Lincoln.
