Unfortunately, several weeks ago, a Salvation Army thrift store in Philadelphia was destroyed and six people were killed when a building undergoing demolition next door collapsed onto the thrift store.
The operator of the machine that was demolishing the building was found to have marijuana and non-prescribed pain killers in his system.

That’s horrible. :/ Unfortunately, with our current legal system, the fact that he was stoned will probably be seen as a mitigating circumstance.

Stephen Pastis by no means holds the copyright on puns, it’s not really necessary to mention him every time another cartoonist does one

What Pastis does better than anyone else is long complicated puns, not the case here

The problem is that he will get off with a plea of temporary insanity. He was stined when he climbed into the machine but since he was stoned, he didn’t know what he was doing and since he didn’t know what he was doing he cannot be held accountable for his actions.
Therefore the fault lies with the supervisor who let him operate the machine.

i just always wondered why there was a whole store for second hands; I mean don’t you need to change the minute and the hour hand too?

We have an ‘Air Museum’ up by the airport. Never saw the point of going to a museum that showed you different kinds of air.

Stop and think a moment… The second hand gets 60 times the ware as the minute hand, which gets 60 times the wear as the hour hand.
Given those facts, I would say that if you needed a new minute hand for an old clock, It would probably be cheaper to buy a new clock.
