Shoe actually found a brick and mortar bookstore. No wonder they sell booze, anyone who finds it is stunned into disbelief…

Shoe is “tired of hanging out in bars”?!? When did he become a tired “Lumberjack”? I wonder if he got tired of
“putting on women’s clothing” and “pressing wild flowers”?

Plenty of bookstores out there. The niche ones seem to do better than the ones that sell the same stuff as Borders or Waldenbooks.

The way Shoe hangs out in bars … I’m surprised he hasn’t run into Andy Capp!

There are certainly a lot of authors there that share the same interest.

They did in the US, too. But Nabuquduriuzhur has never let the facts get in the way of one of his comments.

I would love to find a ‘Waldenbooks’. I haven’t seen one in five years just ‘B & N’ and I can’t find anything in there it is like a jungle and the people(Staff) are snobs—like I don’t know what is good to read.

Walden Books has been gone for years. Unfortunately that leaves B&N here, although we have a great local bookstore downtown when I can get there.

In my old hometown of Savannah, GA., if the law catch any public library selling alcohol, they’ll lock ‘em up and throw away the key! And don’t get me me started on what happens if they catch ’em selling dope!
