   Years ago I had a very strange friend who sent me a cookie she made for Christmas…That was very nice but it was in an envelope…

   Just seen a lady in the store using food stamps, she had steaks, soda, a whole lot of stuff that I myself cannot afford. Makes me sick.Maybe I should quit working and cheat the system also, but I was not brought up that way.

   Since these are FOOD items, FOOD stamps are appropriate. If the store is letting her buy non-eligible items, maybe THEY are the problem, or did she separate into two orders? Try a budget, maybe? Many people at my wife’s office bitch about this all the time, but they eat out every day for lunch, stop at Starbucks on the way in, and keep smoking their 3 packs a day, while crying about not having any money! Oh, and buying that NEW iPAD, etc. every time one comes out!

    I recently spent close to two years on food stamps (the wonderful company I worked for sent my job to India). Ate the cheapest food I could find so I could splurge and buy myself a nice meal once or twice a month. Stop being so damn smug. Living on food stamps is a nightmare, not a pleasure.
