    That’s easy….
    .
    1) Go to the United Kingdom.
    .
    2) Take £40 out of the bank and stick it so loosely in your pocket it’s bound to fall out.
    .
    3) Go jogging.

By now, five cents isn’t worth a wooden nickel!
They make the pennies out of copper plated aluminum because that much copper is worth a LOT more than the penny is!!
All the result of deficit spending gone mad!!!

Do you realize that (Sir Isaac) Newton subscribed 40 Pounds to the fund to build Wren’s great library?!! THAT was a LOT of money in Newton’s era!

Pennies here in the U.S. have been made of copper-plated ZINC (not aluminum) since the middle of 1982.
If you want to make it political, that was in the early years of the Reagan administration.
Canada stopped making their pennies earlier in 2012.

That’s it, if you were not a liberal when 20 something you were considered heartless, if you were not a conservative by the time you were just beyond the 20 somethings you had no brainless and had all kinds of heart.

OK, if you don’t like jogging take a long brisk walk. At least you’ll have worked off some of the beer and garbage food you’re about to put on your gut.

All kidding aside, I am very diet conscious and do a lot of walking and other exercises,
which may explain why at 67 years old I take no medications nor require any medical attention – so far ! The wheels can come off at anytime….

Okay, zinc. It seemed too light for zinc. I was going to weigh it on my analytical balance to see, but I’ll believe the US Mint.

The IMPORTANT thing is that it ISN’T copper anymore because copper is worth more than the penny is worth by now.
