I’ve learned to never tell a bank that I need the money, but instead that I want it. They are more likely to lend you the cash if you seem like you are just gonna blow it on a vacation or something, rather than needing it for something important.

Is that true ? Wow…You would never guess that would be a good idea…but if I ever need a loan, I will take your advice.

There was a time when a bank was concerned about getting paid back. And the bank is a LOT more likely to get paid back if the borrower doesn’t NEED the money.

BUT THEN, thanks to BOTH Bush and Obama, they discovered that the best way to get bailed out at taxpayer expense, so they could pay their bank executives MILLIONS at tax payer expense, was to go broke by making bad loans!!

Divers always talk about their scuba gear.
    .
    I’ve often wondered…
    .
    What gear does S(elf0 C(ontained) U(nderwater) B(reathing) A(pparatus) require?
    .
    From the “Concise Oxford Dictionary:”
    .
    1) apparatus 1) the equipment needed for a particular purpose or function, esp. scientific or technical.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
More recently I’ve begun to wonder what people need their PIN numbers for.
    .
    e.g.) “I can’t remember my PIN number.”
    .
    Their P(ersonal) I(dentification)N(umber)
probably does have a number somewhere in the system, but why should they care?
    .
    They only need their PIN.

The SCUBA portion only consists of tank, valve, hose(S) and regulator. Ancillary items or gear could be, bouyancy compensator, back pack, watch, wet suit, fins, etc.
Get it now?I agree about the PIN number. Like ATM machine,or hot water heater.
