   peer pressure only works if you care about what your peers think of you. by the time i was 20, i didn’t care. been marching to the beat of my own drum ever since.

   Give me uniqueness over greatness any day.

   When one studies how the human personality works, one learns that what is natural for you and what is best for you are not automatically the same thing.

    when long hair was in fashion, i wore my hair long. when it went out of fashion, i still wore it long - sometimes in a pony tail. when pony tails became hip, i shaved my head. when guys started doing that, i stopped and let the hair grow back. it has it’s drawbacks (thinking independantly of the group, that is) but, on the whole, i prefer it.
    it’s making Jeopardy a bit more difficult, however, since i don’t know as much about current pop culture references, but i don’t mind much.
