That bundled garbage thing is one good reason why I don’t have cable. Now if only 10 or 20 million subscribers canceled their cable service (no, not for life) long enough for the wallets to feel the pinch, that could lend collective bargaining leverage to getting a different rate structure,like possibly ordering and paying only for the channels you want. The stones would sink to the bottom quick.

I agree that they charge us for stations we don’t watch. The cost keeps going up. Maybe switch to just basic?

Independent small community intranets, each with an independent wireless server with only about a quarter mile range. Or Peer2Peer with a small-community-only range. With a short-range community bulletin board with a “Help us paint a picture” for creative collaboration by the young-uns. Jamming live with one’s friends over the same intranet or Peer2Peer, at home with headphones on, when it is too late for everyone to go over to one person’s home. Heaven on earth!
