    This is such an insightful and delightful strip. It makes me sad that it was cut short and we are limited to oft repeated stories. I love reading about Shirley and Louis no matter what the season or number of times we have ridden this merry-go-round. Louis longs to have his parents together; Shirley battles the latitude the non-custodial dad has. I give the dad some credit for remaining a part of his son’s life. There are no easy times in the story of a divorced family.
