Remove the outlying nations around Afghanistan,and it is manageable. But the political cultural situation has always been too fractured outside the borders to control the border.

I ran away from home once. I was about 9 or 10 I think. My mom said “Okay, let me know when you get to where you’re going” or something to that effect. That was back when it was still safe, it was dark outside, guess she knew I would be back, walked around the block and came home. LOL!
