Scott should be a ‘toonist who realizes that Chicago is safer than Miami and several other major cities. On “Neighborhood Scout”, Chicago in fact doesn’t even make the top 100 over 25,000 population as most subjecting you to violent crime!

Chi-town has the higher NUMBER of murders…. reporting the rate and suggesting a city is safer is like going into the woods with your friends with a known wild bear about…calling it safer because you know you can run faster than your friends…

Unfortunately those killings in Chicago have been slopping over into nicer areas and the expressways. We have seen attacks and killings on the Mag Mile and the CTA. A lot of collateral damage is happening. Gangs and guns are a major factor. I live near the city and every Sunday night we get the body count on the news. Recently there has been news stories about how the numbers have been cooked to make them look better. Chicago still has a higher rate than Los Angles and New York.

Right, stop a trampling herd of children from leaving the US for Mexico. Hello? Scottie’s changing the subject here; he’s illustrating the Fox Rush Noize not the International Problem that DEMANDS solving down along the Mexican Border.

$3.7 billion divided by 51,000 so far this year is $72,000 per illegal.
I guess most of that will be spent on trial lawyers for the illegals alleged deportation hearings.
Who will in turn donate to the DNC’s campaign funds.

Gresch: note the words “violent crime”-not just homicide, and I’ve spent decades in the woods with “wild bears”, and never, ever, felt as threatened as on the streets of many U.S. cities. Try Compton, Ca. Philadelphia, or dozens of others. In Portland, OR for example on one trip there, in three days, there were a total of five shootings within blocks of where we were staying, and that wasn’t even a “bad” neighborhood!! Which only two of the shootings were fatals, and then throw in assaults, strong arm robberies, rape, and you really don’t have to worry about bears.
