I was born and lived my life in Illinois…never voted for those Chicago/Springfield democrats who made our state into a Wasteland. Democrats buy votes by giving selected citizens plums from the state treasury; Dems reward the Leftwing Unions Creampuff contracts with higher than private wages plus perks and incredible and unjustified Pensions. Those giveaways for decades ran Illinois into bankruptcy. Now the Chicago thugs want a law requiring Downstate taxpayers to make up some of the Northern Illinois deficits.
