second sign should be doom

If you get about ten million of those little sign carriers, they will overrun and overwhelm the ayatolla, just like the Lilliputians did to Gulliver. Ghandi did it in India. Matter of fact, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard did it to the Shah.

A bunch of little guys can overwhelm one single big guy. Ever heard about fleas? Think about it next time you see a dog scratch.

Will be interesting to see the outcome. I don’t think the people will just lie down and accept this. Especially after a 16 year old girl was shot in the heart. She just happened to be with her father.

Cabrobst: That depends on your definition of long I think.
Concerned: I hold a similar position. I can’t really see Iran running the election again. End result is they live with the incumbent for another term.

It may also be a matter of what happens in Qom. The Assembly of Experts does have clout, and, if new coalitions are formed, Khamenei (and by extension Ahmadinejad) may end up out. I wouldn’t want to guess on a time line though.

yes fennec and isn’t rafsanjani one of the assembly?
i keep praying that something could unsettle the stronghold without more bloodshed, but raf is being quiet. khamenei is the money and ahmed is the pit bull it looks like.
but if the people - especially the women (in my opinion, because they come from a deeper cultural distance and they are not afraid) - just stay strong but also peaceful, is it possible mousavi …
no, not now, but soon. it’s not a stand-off i don’t think. it’s like a stew pot about to boil.
