Mark Buford's Scary Gary presents an all-too-common problem: vampires in the suburbs. But this vampire isn't out for blood; Gary has turned over a new leaf. Hanging up his cape for good, Gary takes up residence in a quiet community, dragging his less-than-thrilled assistant, Leopold, with him. While Gary embraces the serenity of suburban life, Leopold is always cooking up one plan or another to terrorize the neighborhood. Scary Gary is syndicated by Creators Syndicate.

I just saw Frankenweenie. This looks much the same. It’s still funny.

Oooh! Giant undead rodent!
(It actually looks more like a wombat.)

Hamsters don’t have teeth like that – well, it didn’t when she buried it. Ah, the miracles of re birth.

“I don’t want to be buried,
In a pet semetary,
Don’t want to live my life again….”

Don’t cry, little girl. I’m sure Leopold the Hungry Mutant will dispose of Zombie-Andy for you.
P.S. Run home and never ever come back this way again, for your own safety!

And the neighborhood gains yet another monster. I’m sure Beatrice will take Andy in.

I think Leopold deserves some credit here. He saw a child mourning her beloved pet and he tried to help. Now she knows why the dead should stay dead. A valuable lesson has been learned. Good job, Leopold! Maybe he and Beatrice have a future together after all. Sometimes good parenting means thinking outside the box (or the coffin,)

I agree. Leo tried to do the little girl a favor (maybe) and he created a zombie instead. Well, at least the other zombies will now have a pet.

Curse you, Hugh B. Hayve, I was going to post those same lyrics.
Fortunately there’s a Ramones song for nearly every tragedy.

It wasn’t Andy’s resurrection so much as his starting to do the Hamster Dance.
