Mark Buford's Scary Gary presents an all-too-common problem: vampires in the suburbs. But this vampire isn't out for blood; Gary has turned over a new leaf. Hanging up his cape for good, Gary takes up residence in a quiet community, dragging his less-than-thrilled assistant, Leopold, with him. While Gary embraces the serenity of suburban life, Leopold is always cooking up one plan or another to terrorize the neighborhood. Scary Gary is syndicated by Creators Syndicate.

What’s with the regular shots of the strip joint this season?
Good drama shouldn’t need unnecessary titilation. Time to put Dexter out to pasture me thinks.

Not having cable I don’t watch Dexter (except for that season when sanitized reruns were shown on broadcast TV—I forget which network but suspect it was CBS). But I do have some addicted friends who post about it regularly over on that social networking site. I’m sure it’s still Leopold’s favorite show!

Not Dexter’s Lab?
Leopold looks extra frenzy in white and black.

Yay! Dexter’s Lab! Get Dee Dee! Destroy her! ;-)

Dexter? Never heard of it…

Not sure why Leopold is getting so excited. The only people Dexter takes out are those that have killed others & rightly deserve to die.

It’s based on a series of books about a police officer who decides that instead of letting the legal system deal with certain offenders he’s just going to take matters into his own hands.

re: darren blair
sort of like a Dirty Harry but “in gruesome”?
It would be hard to to Tom Clancy’s “Without Remorse” where a Seal’s girlfriend is brutally killed and he sets about taking down the entire drug ring that did it, bit by bit.

I’ve never actually seen it; I just simply hit Wikipedia after I kept hearing people bring it up in conversation.

No one deserves to die. Death is no punishment – it’s a release from suffering.
