Savage Chickens began on a rainy day in October 2004 when, after one too many migraines, Doug Savage scribbled two chickens on a sticky note. Almost eight years and 2000 cartoons later, Savage Chickens is now a popular website with millions of readers. Thanks! I do an annual batch of pirate cartoons around Talk Like A Pirate Day, so I’ve drawn many a pirate chicken over the years!

Thanks! Yes I’ll probably post a few of my favourites from before 2008 once in a while. (I started with 2008 because I like the drawing better than the earlier stuff.)
