I checked, and sure enough, ostriches don’t do this in RL. What would they gain from it? Apparently it was Pliny the Elder who started this myth nearly 2000 years ago. And we still have it?!

..i dont think they were missing the ‘shards’ – i think they were missing the ‘charts’ and i just said it funny
